Ciao Italia day 3 & 4

Day 3 & 4 were probably my favourite, not that I didn't enjoy the others as much. They were all equally amazing and memorable. Each city was unique in its own way. But we were in Milan,  the city that's known for being the home of fashion!!!!!!

Big brands such as Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, and Fendi all originated from this city. From shopping to historical sites, this city has everything.

Coincidentally, it was also Milan fashion week! Since it happened from the 23rd to the 29th of September, every store was filled with new arrivals. How fortunate for us, even though we weren't apart of it, I still got to see people in those runaway-worth outfits. //drools// But it's okay, one fine day Insyaallah, I'll be attending this semi-annual event as a fashion blogger then endorse these world brands here, on this blog #goals #prayforalanis #dreambig cehhhh, hahahaha

24TH September 2015

As soon as we arrived in Milano Central, Milan had already impress me. The architecture of the station itself was mad beautiful.

Took awhile to get a taxi cause most of them only allowed 4 passengers in, and we have 5. And they're really strict about that. In KL and here in Dubai, nobody really cares ahahahahaha. Sumbat larh until cannot fit.

So I snapped like 700 pictures in the mean time yay.

Duomo di Milano

Our hotel was just 5-10 minutes walk away from the Duomo Cathedral & around it was the shopping district. Ahhh, bliss! We didn't check in yet because it was too early so we just left our stuff there and head  straight to Serravalle Designer's Outlet. It would usually take an hour and a half by train from Milano Central but haihhh... we missed a stop which then turned into a 2 hour something journey.

Fascinating view along the way. Italians are so lucky, they get to see this kind of view everyday //rolls eyes//

We had less than 3 hours there, which obviously wasn't enough. Hardly took any pictures cause everyone's phone and cameras ran out of battery <--Proves how bored we were in the train. There were very less people in Serravalle on that day, probably because it was a weekday or people found it not worth the visit idk but that made it easier to shop yay.

Talking about it being worth or not the visit, I think it was okay. It was enjoyable but if you were to compare it to Bicester Village in London, you'll definitely be underwhelmed. So don't get your hopes up too high people. My advice is if you don't have much time to spare, you can just skip this one.

By the time we reached the hotel, they were about to close the reception for check ins on that day. Just in time. Pheww!

25TH September 2015

On day 4 we went sightseeing and first stop was of course the Duomo Cathedral, cathedral church of Milan built as dedication to St Mary of the Nativity in 1965. Not so long ago but still the architecture looked so baronial and was astounding.

Went on the rooftop, and from there we were able to see most of Milan. But  the elevator only took us up to the fourth floor then againnnnnn, we had to climb the stairs. Thousand of steps, my legs broke again.

Both the exterior and interior structure of this building were magnificent

Beautiful during day and night
My dad and brother are huge football fans, so fanatic you don't even know omg. My brother is literally  a living football reference. Ask him  anything football related and you'll get answers in that very second. But if you ask him when my birthday is, he'll answer January 9, 7 or 15. Any other date that's not actually my birthday. But it's so annoying though cause whenever I know something about football, he'll look at me funny.....like seriously bro can you not.........so rude.

So after all the sightseeing in central Milan, we went to San Siro Stadium, home of two legendary football clubs, Inter Milan and AC Milan. There were 2 metro changes in between to get there. The stadium was huge as its capable of holding over 80,000 spectators.

The rest of the day were spent roaming around Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle II, via Condotti Sant'Andrea & that's pretty much it I guess.

Apparently someone named their clothing line after me //flips hair//

Later that night we went looking all over the places for this Halal Kebab restaurant that is said to be located in Pergolesi street, just around 2 miles away from where we stayed but still couldn't find it. I was walking drowsily as it was already 10pm. I know, I know baru 10 pm kot.

It was a hectic day, I've been on my feet the whole day. But then I heard this super loud electric music that instantly woke me up. Looked around the line of shops, nope. It was mostly clothing stores that are already closed. Then I heard it again but this time I knew that it came from the streets. OH MY GOD HOW COOL IS THAT. It was a tram that looked like a disco. A disco tram, yes! So when I googled about it, they're actually called the Party In TramWhatever, my guess was close. It's basically a party on a tram, where people drink while sightseeing. Well it's a common thing in Europe after all, just the fact that they do it on trams.

Since we still couldn't find the kebab restaurant after making multiples of rounds in the same street, we decided to just have our dinner at my dad's new favourite restaurant again *drumrolls* Galleria Restaurant in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. Just because they allowed people to smoke there so what else, my dad was the happiest person ever. The waiter also pretty much encouraged my dad's smoking habit so you know   -____________-

                                                                     Till then! xx
